Even if your old analogue TV/TVs do not have scart inputs, it may be possible to connect a freeview box via the aerial input, with certain models.

Whether you need to upgrade your aerial depends on several factors, if you can receive all Freeview channels now, you are unlikely to require an aerial upgrade, but if you have patchy or no reception now, an upgrade could well be required.
